Watercolours

I believe that there are two essential playlists one must have on their i-pod.
Mellow Yellow and Watercolours. Well, something along those lines.

Mellow Yellow is that playlist filled with fantastic acoustic guitars, dreamy male voices, a Sheffield accent now and then. Ideal for when reading, relaxing, daydreaming. Basically perfect for every occasion. I find it very romantic, especially in contrast to the classic romantic songs. (see The Way You Look Tonight).

A selection of my Mellow Yellows:
I Saw Lightning by Telekinesis
Master & A Hound by Gregory Alan Isakov
Eyes by Rogue Wave
Crosses by José Gonzalez
Babylon by Angus & Julia Stone
Too Little, Too Late by Department of Eagles (impressive JoJo cover, definitely worth a listen or fifty)
Three Tree Town by Ben Howard
Toothpaste Kisses by The Maccabees
Here Comes The Blackout by Stornoway
Flume by Bon Iver
Bible Belt by Dry The River
Sunrise Sunset by We Are Trees

Watercolours is basically what I thought I'd name my summer surfing lo-fi dream-pop playlist. It varies from happy fast songs, to calming melodies.
