reality bites

 Today I watched Reality Bites, and wow am I in love with Winona Ryder. But that is not the point.
Just watch this scene, and tell me this isn't a movie you'd wanna see.

I cannot believe August began already, only two weeks left and I'm moving to Middelburg where my student life will finally begin. Summer began a bit late this year, having only graduated on the 6th of July.
Realizing it's almost been a month and I've been pretty busy. It's been a while since I've written anything, or made a decent playlist for that matter but my excuse is this: I have a job.
I know, I'm such a responsible adult. Helping out in the kitchen of a restaurant really isn't that bad, even though my job mostly consists of washing dishes. I have had the honor of slicing lettuce, folding clean towels and cleaning windows as well, for 5 days a week.

Other than that I've made sure to make a quick camping trip with Demi and Karen. Nature campings are awesome, this particular one had animals, some walking around freely, like this rabbit here:

And of course it's not camping if there's no fire. I hadn't had marshmallows in ages, after nearly finishing the bag I can remember why...

Camping's not the only get away I've had this summer, I've also been to the metropolis Vollendam. If you're not familiar with the town let me just say that I'm being sarcastic. Anyway, here's a statue:

So kind of sums up the highlights of the month, unfortunately I didn't take any pictures at Kia's leaving party which was at the beach (awesome location).
