It was sometime in October; she had long ago lost track of all the days and it really didn’t matter because one was like another and there were no nights to separate them because she never slept anymore.

Christmukkah.

Is it just plain weird that I already feel like snowy nights, and Christmas presents, and pre-midnight depression the last day of the year?
I mean, this has never happened to me before. I'm a summer person, give me all the sun and warmth you can get.
I guess I just want to huddle next to the fire place with a cup of hot hot tea and a Harry Potter book in hand, perhaps listening to some  Christmas songs; children choirs and jazzy saxophones...

Ah, but there are so many things that come before Christmas time is even near !

• Need to write my motivation letter and get my Uni application sent out. (yep, it's only one.)
• I need to start preparing for MEC if I actually want to go, which I really really should do since it's my last chance.
• I'll be preparing a song for music evening in school, with the school principle and an English teacher.
• Lots of homework. Continuously.

I think that's it.
Can't I just hibernate til the 20th of December?

A Swedish Love Story

I am ashamed to say that even though I managed to watch half of "The Royal Tenenbaums" I still haven't found time for the rest.

Regardless, I've started obsessing about having to watch this film I just saw the trailer of, "A Swedish Love Story".

I'm not entirely sure what's drawing me to it this much, I have a feeling it has something to do with the photography. This is a good trailer, period. Lovely music in the background, doesn't have to spell out what the plot is, yet you do get a taste of the film itself, I find.

Anyway, hopefully I can order it through my local library.

 

Watercolours

I believe that there are two essential playlists one must have on their i-pod.

Mellow Yellow and Watercolours. Well, something along those lines.

Mellow Yellow is that playlist filled with fantastic acoustic guitars, dreamy male voices, a Sheffield accent now and then. Ideal for when reading, relaxing, daydreaming. Basically perfect for every occasion. I find it very romantic, especially in contrast to the classic romantic songs. (see The Way You Look Tonight).
